More Brainwashing & Finished Projects

Vanessa (my great friend & roommate from college) gave us a nice little brainwashing gift.  The book has a place to put a picture of your baby and their graduating class.  Bob said we should send it in with his/her college application to ensure getting accepted ;)   Our neighbors, Dan & Kim, gave me a bunch of maternity clothes, plus a cute little ND onesie that their little boy wore (they are big ND fans).  Thank you very much for helping us brainwash our little one!

I'm proud to say that I am almost finished with all of my painting projects.  Just a few little touch ups here and there.  Now we just need to get some furniture for the room and find out where we are going to put all of Bob's clothes (I have taken over the closet in our room and he took over the guest room).

Our friend, Ken, gave us two hilarious books!  One of them has some basic tips for taking care of the baby. Mom and Dad, you will get a kick out of this photo :)

Happy Memorial Day everyone!  We're going to attempt a hike today, but the weather is not looking so good right now.

Growing Belly

Holy cow!  Did I seriously grow that much in such a short amount of time?!?!?  The baby is moving around like crazy now and Bob can feel it from the outside :)

Wannabe Painter/Wannabe Interior Designer's Dream

I have decided that having a baby is a wannabe painter/wannabe interior designer's dream come true.  For months I have been visualizing the nursery and gathering my arts and crafts.  Here is what I've been up to lately.  I still have a long way to go, but I'm having so much fun making stuff to match the bedding :)  I'll be sure to show my finished products when I'm all done.

Bob, you better keep me out of Michael's and Hobby Lobby before I spend too much money!

Thank Goodness for Older Sisters

I'm extremely lucky to have two older sisters that have already had babies.  Not only are they there for good advice, but also maternity clothes :)  Right after I told Sara I was pregnant, she sent me a care package full of goodies.  Then a couple of weeks ago I went to visit Monica and she sent me home with two full boxes of clothes.  I can't even imagine how much money they are saving me.  It seems like each week I have to go through my clothes to see what doesn't fit anymore....but not to worry.  I just head over to the boxes full of clothes to find a new pair of pants!  Thanks Monica and Sara!!!  You guys are the best.

Not much new to report.  Still growing and still not prepared for this baby.  The only real purchase I have made so far is bedding.  Time please slow down!  It is all going way too fast right now!  So much to do, so little time.
