BIG BOY

Wow, Scotty is a big boy!  He had his 1 year well check today and his head and height are both off the charts.  He is 2ft 9 inches tall and weighs in at a whopping 24 lbs. 7 oz (90th percentile).  My little guy is starting to look like a linebacker!  Other than a little bit of concern about his feet turning out and possibly giving him a little trouble with walking, he is a happy and healthy boy!!

He's One!

Happy 1st birthday to our sweet Scotty boy! You are such a wonderful blessing to our family. We love our adorable, happy-go-lucky, little trouble maker!! Your favorite thing to do right now is to practice standing on your own and pull on your sister's hair. Today, instead of taking your first steps, you learned how to open the toilet seat all on your own so you could splash and play in the water....gross!! We so love you Scotty and can't wait to see what adventures the next year will bring!

April snow showers bring May flowers?

Is that how it is supposed to go? Erin and I enjoyed a warm and wet snow storm today! It took only 30 minutes for our snowman to melt and fall over.

Walking Practice

Scotty is so proud of himself using the walker toy! He is trying to stand on his own all the time now....it is just a matter of time before he is walking.

Swing Set is Up

Needless to say, Erin was pretty darn excited when she saw how much of the swing set was up when she woke up today. Erin asked to look out the window at the swing set about 10 times before we were even done cooking breakfast. She wasn't too happy when we told her it wasn't quite ready for playing. Luckily I was able to find some time to finish building the swing set. I was even able to talk Vic and Ryan into lending a hand. We were able to finish.   I think she has already used the slide about 100 times. Now we just need 10 cubic yards of mulch to spread around. Based on my 3rd grade math that is about 60 wheel barrows full.

Backyard Fun

We have the best friends in the world. If you buy pizza and beer, they will come. Bob and crew cleared away the rocks and started assembling the swing set! This was a tough job and we cannot thank you all enough! I think the kids had fun too!

Fun at Nursery School

Erin has so much fun at school. Everyday she asks if today is a school day.

The weather was gorgeous and we had some great friends over to celebrate the day with us.  We are blessed!

McGregor Family Photos

The stars aligned and we were able to get a great shot of the entire McGregor family!  Only one day available that we would all be together.  The sun came out and warmed it up just enough.  Fresh snow from the white Christmas we had the day before.  AND a stomach bug/nasty cold that took over a majority of the family, decided to skip just this one day.  Thanks Holly Pacione Photography for taking on the task of making 19 of us look good (including lots of little ones)!!  I love my family and I love these pictures!

Christmas 2013 (WE HAVE SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON)!!!

A while back, I tried to post some pictures and I got a message that our account was full and I'd have to upgrade.  I didn't want to deal with it at the moment.  Life got busy (or should I say, stayed busy) and the blog got away from me.  Not sure what happened, but we can post pictures again!  Hurray!

The whole purpose of this blog was to share pictures with friends and family (mainly the grandparents) and it is a great way for me to keep a little timeline of all the amazing things are kids are doing as they grow up way too fast.  So, my goal is to slowly but surely get caught up so I can continue to document these precious times....so I don't forget the important milestones and all the silly, fun pictures that would normally just sit on our computer.  I already look back in awe of the pictures when Erin was just a baby....   So, I'm going to try my hardest.  Poor Scotty.  The second child.  Already deprived of blog posts ;)
